Say hello to Cash Kende Rackaz (CKR). To officially set the motion for my magazine I spoke to Cash Kende Rackaz, who has been a lover of music from a very young age and as he has gotten older his passion has only grown stronger.

Cash Kende Rackaz is a Northampton rap artist who first started in the music scene by making grime and drill music, and now he is on to bigger things.
CKR first found his love for music at primary school when he first participated in his schools choir in year 2.
However, growing up in a Carribean household music has always been a big part in his life and resonates in his music.
“The beat and the rhythm is just in my blood and the Carribean influence is what I try to bring across in my music as well as the British influence. I like to use popular phrases and terms in my music.”
During 2022 Cash Kende Rackaz released his song Business As Usual (link below) under the name Rackaz, which has gained just over 50,000 views. “It’s great to get recognition from young people in Northampton, aspiring artists and people who just enjoy music”, he said.
He also released another song under the name Cash Kende which gained recognition from Skepta.
Making music under two different names has now pushed the artist to merge them both. “I'm bringing the names together because there might be people that know me as Rackaz and some that know me as Cash Kende.”
The future for Cash Kende Rackaz seems very bright as he has plans to create a new genre of music called UK Chill, as well as dropping new music.
More details will be featured in April’s magazine issue.
