Her love for music began at just 13 years old when her uncle first taught her how to DJ. From that moment, Kerrie seized every opportunity to grow her skills in music.

In 2017, during her time at the University of Nottingham, she appeared as a guest on Pre Ocean, a student radio show. That experience solidified her passion for broadcasting and set her on the path toward a career in radio.

Fast forward to 2021, Kerrie joined BBC Radio Northampton, where she’s seen first hand how the music scene is evolving to be more inclusive and versatile, especially for women.

You can read more about Kerrie’s journey and insights in the April issue of Amped Up magazine.
