Yung Filly pleads not guilty to sexual assault charges

British rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges in Western Australia.
He is best known for his work with the YouTube group Beta Squad, he has presented shows on BBC Three and has won a Mobo Award for best media personality in 2021.
Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on a Tuesday.

Court documents revealed that he pleaded not guilty to three counts of assault of bodily harm, strangulation and four counts of sexual penetration without consent.
He is set to appear at the state’s higher district court on 13 June.
The star has been on bail since October 2024 after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s in his hotel room after performing at the coastal suburb of Perth at a venue in Hillarys.
Allegedly the attack took place on Saturday 28th September and was touring in Australia for music at the time of the alleged offences.
